I've raised this several times, but it's worth emphasizing: the Recast Agent should support automatic updates for already installed packages when newer versions are available in the SetupStore.
Many organizations are struggling with autopatching, and this functionality would address a significant pain point. While Microsoft may eventually introduce a similar capability, they are typically slow to deliver in this area. Meanwhile, we’d prefer not to rely on third-party tools like NinjaOne or Patch My PC to fill this gap.
By enabling native, automated package updates, Recast could offer a more streamlined, secure, and integrated patch management experience. Something i think customers increasingly expect, especially now as geopolitical circumstances drive renewed interest in on-premise solutions.
This idea can be put in the following categories: Automation/Efficiency/Large environment needs/security

"the Recast Agent should support automatic updates for already installed packages when newer versions are available in the SetupStore."
I would like to add, It will also be usefull for "not setupstore" packages. If companies would love to work with optional packages and/or catalog packages, we need to have an update in place if applications are already installed.
At the moment we need to work with events to insure up-to-date packages in the environment. For optional packages, we need to create an additional packages to scan devices if update is needed.
