Currently, it is not possible for end-users to add smart icons to their desktop, start menu, or taskbar. These actions are currently managed centrally by IT. While centralized management can be beneficial, there are some challenges this creates.
One issue is that users are currently able to pin "dumb" / default shortcuts to their taskbar or start menu. As a result, the application may open without executing any of the necessary Liquit actions, which can lead to an inconsistent user experience.
Ideally, we would like to request the ability for end-users to pin smart icons to their desktop, start menu, or taskbar. This would ensure that all pre-configured actions within a given package are executed when the application is launched.
Workaround: Currently, the only workaround is for IT administrators to remove all "unmanaged" shortcuts from the start menu and desktop, which is not an ideal long-term solution.
We believe this feature would improve the user experience and streamline application management while maintaining control over how applications are launched and executed.

Alternatively, if adding smart icons directly is not feasible, another suggestion would be to implement a method to intercept specific processes when a shortcut is launched. This would ensure that the correct Liquit actions are executed, even if a non-smart shortcut is used.
