RCT: Remote Event Viewer using Recast Agent

Troubleshooting often starts with reviewing Windows event logs, but today that typically requires remote control, network connectivity, and admin permissions.

Add a Remote Event Viewer tool powered by the Recast Agent that allows administrators to browse and search event logs directly from Right Click Tools. This would provide quick access to Application, System, Security, and custom logs without requiring a remote session.

Potential capabilities:

• Browse local and custom event logs

• Filter by log, source, event ID, severity, and time range

• Search event messages

• View full event details

• Export or copy events for troubleshooting

• Work over the internet through the Recast Agent
