Allow Pre and Post scripts to be added to Custom Applications
Would be nice to be able to add pre and post scripts through the same interface as for other catalog applications so that it is consistent across all the deployment processes.
+1 for this feature. For us, Additional Files & Folders and pre/post installation actions really need to work together for Custom Applications.
A pre/post action often depends on supporting scripts, configuration files, or other resources. If those files aren’t staged with the Custom Application, we have to manually maintain them in the application source, which undermines much of the automation benefit.
Bringing Custom Application behaviour in line with Recast Catalogue applications would provide a much cleaner and more scalable workflow.
Would like this as a feature to be able to potentially add the same pre and post install scripts that are used for other applications without having to "redesign" those scripts to work with Custom Applications
It would also be nice to have Custom Applications work the same way that the other applications work so deployment teams can do the same workflow across all applications.
