This is odd. The default way of installing vmware tools is via the vcenter when building a vm employs the MSI install method. Not sure why MSI is missing from the catalog.

We are not aware of a public download link for the MSI version. We do have one for the EXE.
That's why the MSI is not in the Setup Store.
Do you happen to have the download link? Then we are happy to add it.
