Custom Detection methods or scripts per app

Add the ability to use a custom detection method to better detect when the app is installed or look at other methods of detection and not just a registry key or file version.

I believe the detection is already prepackaged with an app, can that be exposed in the settings of the deployment process so it can be updated with variables or a script so it can be adjusted and saved in the local DB per application?

We just bought the Recast suite for patching, and standard apps like Chrome and Webview2 will not detect as installed because they can exist in multiple locations. The fact that the tool can't even detect a successful installation for this is literally making this almost worthless as a dependable application. When asked to fix these two apps, I was given the excuse that Intune doesn't allow the "or" statement, and that I needed to put in a feature request to fix Webview2 and get people to upvote it. Intune allows custom detection scripts, so this can be done by your team to detect multiple install locations and versions. Also, the Webview2 has the same exact issues as Google Chrome. I was also told to uninstall Chrome on systems that have the files located in the Program Files (x86) path (which is where 64 bit Chrome can be located as well), and install Chrome again. We have thousands of systems with the x86 path already in place, and doing this would cause no end of issues for them.

Getting this option for us to add additional detections would both help Recast and those of us that have adopted it. Either that or fix your packaging. Without fixing these things, the value of this tool is very low.

Second this. Prime example is Webview2 Runtime that has a detection method that looks for the version number in the folder structure of the exe. Once Webview2 Runtime is updated any applications that have a dependency for the previous Webview2 Runtime are unable to detect the new version causing their respective installations to fail. Having the ability to use custom script detection will save us a significant amount of time.
