We run an HTTPS only SCCM environment which prevents us from utilizing Windows Installer Source Management for applications in SCCM. This is a known limitation with SCCM and HTTP is not something we can enable due to security reasons. Please see link below for more information.

By default, many applications from Recast populate the MSI product code for Windows Source Management which in turn removes sourcelist registry keys that point to the local source files for an application such as Adobe Acrobat. Having the ability to not insert the product code in the application Source Management config would prevent this issue from occurring. We currently have to remove the product code from each application's Windows Source Managment before deployment which is time consuming.
