Currently, the only built-in way to ensure a kiosk returns to its designated home page after a period of inactivity is by setting the device to reboot when idle. While this achieves the desired effect, it is an unnecessarily complex and disruptive approach for such a simple requirement.
A more efficient solution would be to introduce an option in Kiosk Manager that automatically navigates the web browser back to the specified home page after X minutes of inactivity. This would provide a seamless way to reset the user experience without requiring a full system restart, reducing downtime and improving overall usability.
Implementing this feature as a configurable timeout setting would allow administrators to specify the inactivity duration before the kiosk resets to the home page, ensuring a consistent experience for users while minimizing interruptions.
