Extend Filters for Liquit Store Applications

We have identified a limitation within Liquit Application Workspace regarding applications that are sourced from the Liquit Store. Currently, the filters assigned to these applications are predefined and cannot be modified, extended, or customized by administrators.

A practical example is the Adobe Reader (x64) application from the Liquit Store. This application includes a default filter that only checks whether the device is running Windows. Within our organization, we now also have Windows ARM64 devices. Although these devices meet the "Windows" filter condition, they are not compatible with the x64 version of Adobe Reader.

Because the application is configured for automatic installation through an entitlement, these ARM64 devices attempt the installation repeatedly and generate installation failures on a daily basis. Since the default filter cannot be extended, there is currently no way to exclude ARM64 devices while still targeting supported Windows x64 devices.

We would like to request the ability to extend or customize the filters of standard Liquit Store applications. This would allow administrators to add additional conditions to the existing filters, such as:

  • Device architecture (x64, x86, ARM64)

  • Operating system version

  • Hardware characteristics

  • Custom device attributes

In this specific scenario, the ability to add an additional filter excluding ARM64 devices would prevent unnecessary installation attempts, reduce error notifications, and provide more accurate application targeting.

This enhancement would significantly improve the flexibility of application deployments and help organizations manage increasingly diverse device landscapes more effectively.
