Send Message Feature similar to Omnissa Horizon VDI users

We are looking for a native messaging feature similar to the "Send Message" functionality found in VDI platform, Omnissa Horizon. This feature should allow administrators to:

• Target specific users or broadcast to all currently logged-in sessions.

• Select message types (e.g., Info, Warning, Error) that appear as a clear, prioritized pop-up or banner within the application interface.

• Control delivery timing so messages appear immediately for active users to ensure high visibility for time-sensitive events.

Business Justification & Impact:

• Reduced Support Volume: Proactive warnings about scheduled maintenance or known outages prevent users from opening unnecessary support tickets.

• Improved User Experience: Notifying users before a system restart or update allows them to save their work, preventing data loss and frustration.

• Security & Compliance: Instant communication is vital for security alerts that require immediate user action or log-offs.

Expected Outcome:
Administrators should be able to trigger a message from the management console that appears instantly on the user’s screen as a non-intrusive yet visible notification. This replaces the current workaround of sending mass emails, which many users miss during active sessions.
